Die Fusion der beiden Tanzformen Contact Improvisation und Tango Argentino, bietet ein vielschichtige Bandbreite an Spielformen. 

Elemente aus der Struktur des Tango können mit der Körperlichkeit der Contact Impro erforscht werden. Wir können tiefe in feine Details tauchen, so wie die Freiheit in der spielerischen Auflösung der Elemente genießen.

Das Variantionsreichtum der Contact Improvisation in seiner Bewegung durch alle Ebenen, wird durch die ureigene Musik des Tango gewürzt. Die frontale Begegnung, das Gehen schenkt dem umeinander fließen eine wertvolle Ergänzung.

Zahllose Beispiele eröffnen sich, im Bewegen von der einen Tanzform in die andere und dem finden der Schnittmenge beider Formen

The fusion of the two dance forms Contact Improvisation and Tango Argentino offers a multi-layered range of play forms.

Elements from the structure of Tango can be explored with the physicality of Contact Impro. We can dive deep into fine details, as well as enjoy the freedom in the playful resolution of the elements.

The richness of variations of Contact Improvisation in its movement through all levels, is spiced by the very music of Tango. The frontal encounter, the walking gives a valuable complement to the flowing around each other.

Countless examples open up in moving from one dance form to the other and finding the intersection of both forms.

ContacTango in der sommerlich magischen Atmosphäre des Schloss Beichlingen. Nach dem unbeschreiblich tollen Festival im winterlichen Wuppertal, genießen wir nun zum 4. Mal ein ganzes Schloss für uns zu haben. Das Schloss ist umgeben von Wiesen und Wäldern und wir können die lauen Sommernächte draußen, auf extra verlegtem Tanzboden unter dem Sternenhimmel tanzen. Natur und Tanz können sich mit der Leichtigkeit des Sommers verbinden.
Die Gruppengröße von nicht mehr als 45 Teilnehmer*innen kreiert eine entspannte und familiäre Stimmung und gibt Raum uns tief in den Tanz und in den Austausch einzulassen.
Das Festival hat den Fokus den lebendigen Austausch über Contact Improvisation, Tango und ContacTango zu fördern.
Ehemalige Lehrer sind eingeladen das Festival zu unterstützen.
Neben den jedes Jahr wechselnden internationalen ContacTango Lehrern, die ihre vielfältigen Einflüsse teilen, gibt es viel Raum sich in einer Gruppe wunderbarer Menschen intensiv auszutauschen und Verbindungen zu schaffen, zu experimentieren, zu kuscheln, toben, zu spielen und in die Körperwahrnehmung zu tauchen und miteinander zu fließen.
Das Festival bietet Raum für Tänzer jeglichen Levels die Fusion von Tango Argentino und Contact Improvisation zu erleben und in dieser Symbiose Spielfreude, Intensität und Freiheit zu finden.

ContacTango in the summerly magical atmosphere of Schloss Beichlingen. After the incredibly amazing festival in the winterly Wuppertal, we now enjoy having a whole castle to ourselves for the 4th time. The castle is surrounded by meadows and forests, and we can dance the warm summer nights outside, on a specially laid dance floor under the starry sky. Nature and dance can merge with the lightness of summer. The group size of no more than 45 participants creates a relaxed and familial atmosphere, providing space for us to deeply engage in dance and exchange. The festival focuses on promoting lively exchanges about Contact Improvisation, Tango, and ContacTango. Former teachers are invited to support the festival. In addition to the annually changing international ContacTango teachers who share their diverse influences, there is ample space to engage intensively with a group of wonderful people, create connections, experiment, cuddle, play, explore body awareness, and flow together. The festival offers space for dancers of all levels to experience the fusion of Tango Argentino and Contact Improvisation, finding joy, intensity, and freedom in this symbiosis.

SUPPORTER PRICE: If you have sufficient means, we warmly invite you to add an amount of 20 – 50,-€ to the festival price. This way, we will support young people or individuals with fewer resources from challenging regions by 100%, enabling them to participate in the festival. If you fall into this category, please apply informally via email.
In case of cancelation up to 2 month before we keep 20%, up to one month before 50% and shorter we need to keep the hole payment

ContacTango in magical atmosphere of Schloss Beichlingen in summer. After an incedible amazing Festival in february in Wuppertal we enjoy for the 4rd time celebrating the international Festival of Contact Improvisation and Tango and having a castle just for ourself. The castle is surrender by forest and meadows and we will spend mild summer nights dancing under the stars outside on a especially placed dance-floor. Nature and dance combine with ease of summer. 

The Festival focusses to support on a vivid exchange about Contact Improvisation, Tango und ContacTango.  

Former Teachers are invited to support the Festival. 

Beside yearly changing international teachers, who share there multiple influences, we have a lot of space to exchange intensiv within a group of wonderful people, built connection, experiment, cuddle, play, dive deep into embodiment and float together. 

The Festival offers capacity for dancers of any level to experience the fusion of Tango Argentino und Contact Improvisation and catch playfulness, intensity and freedom in this symbiosis.  

FULL PACKAGE: 6 days of classes, research, jamilongas, exchange etc plus food Tuesday evening -Sunday lunch Early Bird till June 10th 465,-€ after 515,-€ plus Hotel room 32,-€ – 58,- €/night.
